Lewis Pugh Talks About His Mount Everest Swim

by Personal Trainer Tai

Success in fitness comes from consistency and not giving up.

Giving up is easy and effortless.  The folks who do not give up are the ones that will reach their fitness and athletic goals.

In my career, I have seen people make up all kinds of excuses to give up on working out and being in shape.

I came across this intense video of  Lewis Pugh talking about his freezing, “ball shriveling” swim in the North Pole and Mount Everest’s Lake Imja and how he wanted to give up so many times and what he did to overcome the desire to give up and quit.

I think there is a lot to be learned here from this video and I hope it will inspire you to continue on your training and not give up.

Also, pay close attention to what he says about being able to “adapt” if you want to succeed.

I hated growing up as a skinny and weak ass Vietnamese kid with a piss poor self image and dangerously low levels of self-confidence. My search for a permanent solution to my powerless figure led me to a rare opportunity whereby I spent over a decade conducting field tests and experiments on hundreds of U.S. prisoners to uncover the most effective ways to gain muscle, lose body fat, and increase the physical performance of the human body. I created this training blog to show you how to develop a strong and powerful body naturally, easily and quickly without any drugs because I sincerely believe that a strong and powerful body will change your life for the better just like it has for me and the lives of hundreds of prisoners that I have trained and rehabilitated.
